Journal of the Further Education Alliance

E-mail

Issue 3 released December 2008

Journal of The Further Education Alliance Imperial House Publishing has been commissioned by the FEAlliance to publish their latest journal, helping Further Education Institutions and their partners to share good practice, develop their research capabilities and provide an exciting and valued body of knowledge for further reflection and debate.

ISSN 1755-9979 (print) - ISSN 1755-9979 (online)

The Journal of the Further Education Alliance is for all education workers including Practitioners, Lecturers and Corporate staff.

The journal has been conceived in order to provide a platform for FE workers to publish their valuable work and share good practice and knowledge across all educational institutions and to create a hub for the cutting-edge experiences of FE workers.

The FEAlliance recognises that most FE staff including Academic, Administration and Corporate, undertake day to day work or qualifications that yield suitable knowledge, research, assignments, studies and reports that would not only benefit their own department but would benefit other college departments across the world.

The Journal will provide contemporary, empirical knowledge to inform and underpin good practice and Further Education improvements in order to help individuals and their institutions work more effectively and understand the Further Education sector.

In addition to the clear benefits to others, the publication of an individual’s work or scholarly activity raises the professional standing of the individual and the perception of FE workers in general.

Articles produced from work or a qualification such as a PGCE, Diploma in Management, Degree or Higher Degree etc. can be submitted to the Journal for publication. A simple format guide is provided below. All submissions are reviewed by the editor and if suitable, forwarded to members of the Editorial Board for anonymous peer review. The editorial board consists of FE professionals working directly in the FE sector.

Articles are welcomed now for the journal and can be submitted in the approved format to the email below. The Journal is available both electronically and in printed version by subscription only.
